Description of the range

Ultrasonic compressed air leak detectorThe LOCATOR-EV is lightweight and easy to use. Its reliable and accurate detection capability makes it a highly effective air leak detector. Turbulence in the air during a leak or due to friction produces high-frequency ultrasonic waves, typically in excess of 20 kHz, which is generally beyond the range of human hearing. These ultrasonic waves can propagate through the air in a highly directional manner. This directional characteristic allows the LOCATOR-EV to isolate ultrasound from other sounds in the plant environment. The LOCATOR-EV will be extremely useful for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, quality control and diagnostic data collection on any compressed air system.
